YouApp is verified-only, so everyone you chat with, meet, pay or book is a real person. These guidelines help keep it safe and friendly for all of us.

Respect the real you and the real people around you. Post only your own photos and videos, follow the law and treat everyone with respect. No spam, harassment, hate, nudity or untrue content.

Respect goes both ways. We take action against anyone who tries to cause harm, alarm or threat to others on YouApp.

  • Treat every traveller, local and host with courtesy
  • Reply clearly and on time to messages and bookings
  • Keep your commitments and show up on time
  • Leave honest reviews based on what really happened
  • Respect cultural differences and local customs

Be real and honest

Your account is verified to your real identity. Keep everything else real too. Share only photos and videos you took or have the right to share.

For hosts

  • Describe your activity accurately, including level, duration and requirements
  • Use real photos of your own activities and places
  • Be clear about what's included and what guests should bring
  • Share any physical requirements or risks up front
  • Keep required certifications and qualifications up to date

For guests

  • Share your real skill level and any relevant health conditions
  • Post genuine photos and reviews
  • Be honest about what you expect

Stay safe at meetups

Everyone is verified, but good habits still matter when you meet in person.

For hosts

  • Give clear safety instructions before and during the activity
  • Check weather and conditions before you start
  • Have emergency plans and contacts ready
  • Keep group sizes safe and respect each guest's limits
  • Keep required safety equipment in good condition

For guests

  • Meet in a public place for first meetups
  • Tell a friend where you're going
  • Follow your host's safety instructions
  • Report safety concerns straight away

Keep chats and posts respectful

Chats and posts are only open to verified users. That trust comes with responsibility.

  • No harassment, bullying, threats or unwanted advances
  • Don't share other people's personal details or photos without permission
  • No spam, scams, fake offers or misleading content
  • No nudity, sexual content, violence or graphic content
  • If someone says no or stops replying, respect it

Pay only in the app

Payments on YouApp are provided by licensed parties, and booking payments are held until the session is completed. Payments outside the app don't have these protections.

  • Keep every booking and payment in YouApp
  • Never ask others to pay you outside the app, and never pay outside it
  • Only scan real merchant DuitNow QR codes, and pay only for yourself
  • Never use YouApp for illegal funds, or to move money for someone else
  • Never share your wallet recovery details or one-time codes with anyone

YouApp welcomes people of every background. We don't tolerate racism, hateful language or discrimination of any kind.

  • Don't discriminate based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or disability
  • Don't post or share hateful, offensive or inflammatory content
  • Don't use slurs or insulting language
  • Welcome people of all skill levels and backgrounds

Follow the law

Follow the law in Singapore and wherever you are. We have zero tolerance for:

  • Sexual content involving minors
  • Threatening to share intimate images of others
  • Offering or asking for illegal services or substances
  • Breaking local rules for commercial activities
  • Operating without required licences, permits or insurance
  • Infringing intellectual property rights

Not allowed on YouApp

Activities

  • Dating, companionship or romantic services
  • Sexual services or sexually suggestive activities
  • Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
  • Political campaigning or lobbying
  • Activities involving illegal substances or weapons
  • Activities with unreasonable safety risks

Content

  • Nudity or sexually explicit content
  • Violence, gore or graphic content
  • Spam, scams or fraud
  • Misleading or false information
  • Content that infringes others' rights
  • Harassment, bullying or threats

How we expect hosts to act

As a host, you represent the whole YouApp community. We expect:

  • Professional, friendly communication
  • Punctual and reliable sessions
  • Early, clear notice of any changes or cancellations
  • Respectful boundaries with guests
  • Learning from feedback
  • Keeping your verification and host review up to date

Reporting

See something wrong? Tell us.

Report or block anyone from their profile or your chat, or contact us. We take every report seriously and work with local authorities when needed.

Contact us Trust and safety

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

  2. 2Remove content or listings
  3. 3Suspend your account
  4. 4Permanently ban your account
  5. 5Report illegal activity to the authorities
  6. 6Take legal action if needed

By using YouApp, you agree to follow these guidelines along with our terms. If you don't agree, please don't use our services.

We may update these guidelines from time to time. If you keep using YouApp after an update, you accept the updated guidelines.
