We want YouApp to continue to be an authentic and safe place for you to discover and participate in meaningful local experiences. So let us all do our part to build and foster this community. We respect the genuine you. Post only your photos and videos, always follow the law, and treat everyone with respect. Don't spam, harass people, spread hate, or post indecent, untrue content and nudity.

Our Core Values

YouApp is built on trust, respect, and authentic experiences. Whether you're a Participant booking an activity or a Host offering one, these guidelines apply to everyone in our community.

1. Respect Everyone. Be Kind.

Respect goes two ways and a long way. We respect everyone and will not hesitate to take action against anyone who tries to cause harm, alarm, or threat to anyone on YouApp.

  • Treat all users—whether Hosts or Participants—with courtesy and professionalism
  • Communicate clearly and respond promptly to messages and bookings
  • Honor commitments and show up on time for booked activities
  • Provide honest feedback and reviews based on your actual experience
  • Respect cultural differences and local customs

2. Be Authentic and Transparent

Share only photos and videos that you've taken or have the right to share and are suitable for the diverse community. Remember to post authentic content, and don't post anything you've copied or collected from the Internet that you don't have the right to post.

For Hosts:

  • Accurately describe your activities, including difficulty level, duration, and requirements
  • Use real photos of your actual activities and locations
  • Be transparent about what's included and what participants need to bring
  • Disclose any physical requirements or potential risks
  • Maintain current certifications and qualifications

For Participants:

  • Provide accurate information about your skill level and any relevant health conditions
  • Share genuine photos and reviews of your experiences
  • Be honest about your expectations and needs

3. Safety First

The safety of our community is our top priority. All users must prioritize safety in every interaction and activity.

For Hosts:

  • Maintain all required safety equipment and certifications
  • Provide clear safety instructions before and during activities
  • Assess weather and environmental conditions before activities
  • Have emergency procedures and contact information ready
  • Respect participant limits and never exceed safe capacity

For Participants:

  • Follow all safety instructions provided by Hosts
  • Disclose any relevant health conditions or limitations
  • Arrive prepared with appropriate clothing and equipment
  • Report any safety concerns immediately

4. Do Not Discriminate. Do Not Spread Hate.

We do not tolerate racism, hateful language, or discrimination of any kind. YouApp is an inclusive platform that welcomes people of all backgrounds, identities, and abilities.

  • Do not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic
  • Do not post or share hateful, offensive, or inflammatory content
  • Do not use slurs or derogatory language
  • Welcome and accommodate people of all skill levels and backgrounds

5. Follow the Law

Please do not do anything illegal and respect the eyes of the law in Singapore and the jurisdiction you are in. We have zero tolerance when it comes to:

  • Sharing sexual content involving minors
  • Threatening to post intimate images of others
  • Offering or soliciting illegal services or substances
  • Violating local regulations for commercial activities
  • Operating without required licenses, permits, or insurance
  • Infringing on intellectual property rights

6. Prohibited Content and Activities

The following are strictly prohibited on YouApp:

Prohibited Activities:

  • Dating, companionship, or romantic services
  • Sexual services or sexually suggestive activities
  • Pyramid schemes or multi-level marketing
  • Political campaigning or lobbying
  • Activities involving illegal substances or weapons
  • Activities that pose unreasonable safety risks

Prohibited Content:

  • Nudity or sexually explicit content
  • Violence, gore, or graphic content
  • Spam, scams, or fraudulent content
  • Misleading or false information
  • Content that infringes on others' rights
  • Harassment, bullying, or threats

7. Professional Conduct for Hosts

As a Host on YouApp, you represent not just yourself but the entire community. We expect:

  • Professionalism in all communications and interactions
  • Punctuality and reliability for all scheduled activities
  • Clear communication about cancellations or changes
  • Respectful boundaries with participants
  • Continuous improvement based on feedback
  • Compliance with all vetting and verification requirements

8. Reporting and Enforcement

Please let us know through our contact form or our contact form if you have come across someone working against our beliefs on YouApp.

You can instantly report or block any suspicious activity. We take all reports seriously and cooperate with local authorities for regulatory enforcements.

Consequences of Violations:

Depending on the severity of the violation, we may:

  • Issue a warning
  • Remove content or listings
  • Suspend your account temporarily
  • Permanently ban your account
  • Report illegal activity to authorities
  • Take legal action if necessary

We embrace meaningful experiences that are built on strong and genuine relationships between Hosts and Participants. Every activity is centered around learning, exploration, and cultural awareness.

Agreement

Please review the above terms and conditions concerning your use and access to our website and application. By using or accessing our website and any services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions herein. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, you are prohibited from using our services or accessing our site.

We may change these Guidelines from time to time, on a prospective basis, and modify, add or discontinue any aspect, content or feature of the services, at our sole discretion. Your continued use or accessing of the services following the posting of any changes to the Guidelines constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
