Our story
YouApp was founded in 2022 with a simple idea: travel should be about real people and real places, not only tourist spots.
We started in Singapore and grew to connect travellers with local hosts in Malaysia and Vietnam.
Visitors kept telling us the hardest part was paying like a local. So we added payments. Today YouApp is Malaysia-first: scan any DuitNow QR and pay in ringgit with stablecoins. Cross-border QR payments are planned from 2027.

MYRT is the Malaysia Ringgit Stablecoin, a limited-purpose stablecoin minted and redeemed 1:1 for ringgit, with its reserve held at a licensed Shariah-compliant fund.
