Safety

1. Host and User Safety

Safety is a top priority at YouApp. While safety incidents are rare, we have clear policies and systems in place to protect our community. This includes investigating reported cases, suspending or removing accounts that violate safety rules, and taking preventive actions when necessary to ensure user trust and wellbeing.

Where possible, YouApp may take proactive steps to promote safety — including verifying both host and user identities, monitoring activity-related risks, and reviewing reports that indicate potential misconduct or boundary violations. We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or remove any account found to pose harm or risk to others.

How to Report a Safety Issue

If you ever feel unsafe or experience an issue during an activity, please contact local emergency services immediately.

For non-emergency cases, you can submit a report through the app or website, which will automatically connect you to our support team via email. All reports will be handled confidentially and reviewed with priority.

Our Policies

YouApp is built on trust, respect, and accountability. All users and hosts are expected to act responsibly, maintain professional conduct, and comply with local laws during every session or experience.

We have clear rules that prohibit unsafe behaviour or activities, including but not limited to:

  • Organizing or joining activities involving illegal goods or substances
  • Violence, harassment, or threats toward another person
  • Unsafe or high-risk physical activities without proper preparation or safety measures
  • Unauthorized photography, filming, or recording during sessions without consent
  • Carrying or using weapons or any harmful objects during activities
  • Any form of sexual conduct, solicitation, or behaviour beyond platform-approved boundaries
  • Engaging in off-platform arrangements or direct payments (cash or transfer) for sessions booked through YouApp

Maintaining Professional and Safe Interactions

YouApp promotes authentic, activity-based connections where all interactions remain respectful, appropriate, and aligned with the approved experience. Every session — whether social, creative, or lifestyle-focused — must be conducted in a professional and non-sexual manner.

Prohibited behaviour includes, but is not limited to:

  • Making verbal, physical, or digital advances of a romantic or sexual nature
  • Using the session or chat function to flirt, request personal relationships, or arrange off-platform meetings with romantic or sexual intent
  • Any act of touching, suggestive gestures, or communication that causes discomfort or violates another person's personal boundaries
  • Wearing, displaying, or sharing sexually suggestive materials, including explicit photos, videos, or attire
  • Soliciting, offering, or implying sexual services, adult companionship, or escort-like activities

Platform Scope

YouApp's experiences are designed strictly for cultural, recreational, lifestyle, and educational purposes. The platform does not permit or endorse dating, romantic, or adult-oriented services. Hosts and users must maintain this distinction at all times.

Professional Boundaries and Consent

All participants must respect personal space, consent, and comfort levels. If any participant feels unsafe, uncomfortable, or pressured, they should end the session immediately and report the incident to YouApp Support for investigation.

Enforcement

Violations of this policy — including harassment, solicitation, or misconduct — may result in immediate account suspension or permanent removal. Serious or repeated cases involving harassment or coercion may be referred to local authorities in accordance with Malaysian law.

2. Keeping Our Community Healthy

YouApp is built on mutual respect and responsible interaction. To maintain a healthy and positive environment, all users and hosts are expected to uphold good hygiene, self-awareness, and considerate behaviour during every activity.

What We Encourage

  • Minor illnesses: If you are experiencing a mild, non-contagious condition (e.g., allergies, fatigue), please ensure you take proper rest and hygiene measures before joining any session
  • Clean and safe environments: Hosts and users should ensure that the chosen venue or activity space is appropriate, clean, and safe for everyone participating
  • Respectful communication: Notify your counterpart in advance if you are unable to attend due to health reasons to avoid inconvenience or misunderstanding

What We Don't Allow

  • Participation while ill or contagious: Anyone diagnosed with, exposed to, or showing symptoms of a contagious illness must refrain from attending or hosting any activity
  • Ignoring public health guidelines: All users and hosts must follow any applicable local health directives
  • Unsanitary or unsafe venues: Sessions must not be held in locations that are visibly unclean, unsafe, or unsuitable for the activity type

3. Illegal and Prohibited Activities

YouApp strictly prohibits any illegal or harmful behaviour that could endanger our community, damage public trust, or violate applicable laws. These rules apply to all users and hosts, both online and during in-person activities.

Prohibited Activities

  • Illegal substances or goods: The use, possession, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs, weapons, or restricted items is strictly forbidden
  • Child exploitation: YouApp is only open to users aged 18 and above. Any act involving the manipulation, solicitation, or exploitation of minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to law enforcement
  • Human trafficking or exploitation: Recruiting, transporting, or coercing individuals for any form of labour, service, or sexual activity is not tolerated
  • Sexual services or conduct: YouApp may not be used to promote, request, or engage in any form of sexual service or erotic activity
  • Pornographic content: The creation, promotion, or exchange of sexually explicit photos or videos through YouApp is prohibited
  • Off-platform solicitation: Encouraging or arranging illegal or inappropriate activities, payments, or meetups outside YouApp's approved framework
  • Fraud and impersonation: Using false identities, forged materials, or misleading information to deceive others

Our Commitment: YouApp cooperates fully with local authorities in investigating any reported illegal conduct. If you suspect such behaviour or feel unsafe, please contact local law enforcement immediately and report the case to YouApp Customer Support.

4. Health and Safety for Activities

YouApp encourages all users and hosts to create and participate in activities that are safe, responsible, and suitable for their environment. Every participant shares equal responsibility to maintain awareness, caution, and care throughout each session.

Safety Expectations for All Participants

  • Know your limits: Choose activities that match your physical ability and comfort level
  • Use proper equipment: Ensure all gear, tools, or items used during an activity are safe, appropriate, and in good condition
  • Follow safety instructions: Adhere to all guidelines or directions provided by hosts, trainers, or venue operators
  • Respect the environment: Use public or private spaces responsibly, and leave venues in clean, orderly condition after use
  • Comply with local laws and regulations: Observe any local safety rules, venue requirements, or event regulations

Responsibilities of Hosts and Users

  • Hosts: Must organize sessions responsibly, ensure the activity setup is safe, and clearly communicate any potential risks
  • Users: Must assess their own readiness before joining, follow all provided safety measures, and promptly report any injury or concern
  • Both parties: Should mutually agree on a venue that is suitable, safe, and appropriate for the intended experience

5. Age of Participation

YouApp is designed to ensure that all activities take place responsibly and in compliance with local laws. To protect our community, only verified users aged 18 and above may host or join in-person activities through the platform.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Hosts: Must be at least 18 years old to offer or manage activities on YouApp
  • Participants: Activities on YouApp are intended for users aged 18 and above
  • Alcohol-related activities: For sessions involving alcohol, all participants must be 21 years old or above
  • Verification: YouApp verifies the identity and age of all hosts, and may request additional verification from users

6. Ethical Conduct and Human Protection

YouApp upholds a zero-tolerance policy against any form of exploitation, coercion, or abuse. Every interaction and activity on the platform must be voluntary, lawful, and based on mutual respect.

Our Commitment

  • No exploitation or coercion: YouApp must never be used to pressure, manipulate, or exploit another person
  • No human trafficking or unlawful conduct: YouApp strictly prohibits any activity that involves trafficking, forced labour, or sexual exploitation
  • Respect for free will: All participation must be voluntary. Users and hosts have the right to withdraw from any activity if they feel unsafe
  • Cooperation with authorities: YouApp works with relevant law enforcement agencies where credible concerns arise

  • Do not use information obtained through YouApp for advertising, solicitation, or purposes unrelated to the agreed activity
  • Keep private conversations and shared experiences confidential unless all parties agree otherwise

Nondiscrimination and Accessibility

Equal Treatment and Respect

YouApp is for everyone who meets our age and verification rules. Users and hosts must treat each other fairly and with respect in all messages and in-person activities.

Protected Characteristics

Discrimination based on any of the following is not allowed: race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, language, disability, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age (except where required by law), marital or familial status, caste, or pregnancy.

Not Allowed

  • Declining, cancelling, or excluding someone because of a protected characteristic
  • Setting different prices, terms, or conditions because of a protected characteristic
  • Indicating preferences for or against people with any protected characteristic

Allowed (When Applied Neutrally and Explained Clearly)

  • Safety, legal, or venue rules (e.g., 18+ only, 21+ for alcohol, venue dress codes)
  • Skill / fitness / experience requirements genuinely needed for an activity
  • Capacity limits or matching based on activity fit (interests, schedule, or language needed)
  • Declining participation where there is a credible safety concern or risk of harm

Harassment, Hate, and Discrimination-Free Conduct

YouApp is a community built on mutual respect, safety, and inclusion. Every verified host and user must engage respectfully—both online and during activities. Harassment, discrimination, or hate of any kind is strictly prohibited.

What We Don't Allow

1. Harassment and Bullying

  • Threatening, stalking, intimidating, or repeatedly messaging someone after being asked to stop
  • Insulting, mocking, or making personal attacks
  • Sharing another person's private information without consent

2. Discriminatory or Hateful Behaviour

  • Refusing participation, excluding, or cancelling a booking due to someone's personal characteristics
  • Using language or gestures that demean, stereotype, or express hostility toward any individual or group
  • Displaying or sharing hateful symbols, images, or slogans
  • Posting or sharing content intended to humiliate or devalue another person

3. Unfair or Differential Treatment

  • Apply different conditions, prices, or requirements to others based on personal characteristics
  • Indicate a preference for or against specific groups when offering or joining activities

4. Harassment through Media or Content

  • Uploading, recording, or sharing someone's photos, videos, or messages without clear consent
  • Creating or distributing edited content that misrepresents, mocks, or embarrasses others

Content & Review Policies

Restricted Content

In consideration of all members of the YouApp community, we restrict certain online content. This applies to all text, photos, videos, descriptions, and images included in host listings, activity pages, and user-generated content such as reviews or chat messages.

What We Allow

YouApp supports authentic, creative, and safe content that aligns with the purpose of facilitating activities, experiences, and social learning between verified users and hosts. Content must reflect genuine interests and maintain a positive, respectful tone suitable for a general audience aged 18 and above.

What We Don't Allow

  • Violating Content: Any content that breaches YouApp's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, or Content Policy
  • Adult, sexual, or suggestive material: Any nude, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive imagery is strictly prohibited
  • Violent or graphic content: Content depicting or implying violence, injury, or physical harm
  • Hate speech or harassment: Content that promotes hate, discrimination, bullying, or targeted harassment
  • Misleading, false, or manipulative material: False qualifications, fake identities, or deceptive marketing
  • Spam and unrelated promotion: Irrelevant advertisements or external business solicitation

External Sharing and Link Policy

YouApp encourages both hosts and users to share verified YouApp profiles, activities, and experiences externally to help grow the community. However, to ensure safety, privacy, and secure transactions, YouApp restricts the posting or exchange of personal contact information.

Encouraged External Sharing

  • Hosts promoting their official YouApp profiles or activity listings on external platforms
  • Users sharing completed sessions or reviews through YouApp's built-in share features
  • Media coverage, influencer collaborations, or brand partnerships

Prohibited In-App Links and Personal Contacts

  • Posting or exchanging any personal contact information (phone numbers, WhatsApp, Telegram, WeChat, etc.)
  • Inserting any external URLs, QR codes, usernames, or handles within bios or chat messages
  • Conducting or arranging off-platform bookings, discussions, or payments

Reviews and Feedback

Reviews must be genuine, fair, and based on actual experiences. The following are prohibited:

  • Fake or incentive-based reviews
  • Coordinated manipulation to promote or damage reputation
  • Abusive, defamatory, or irrelevant remarks

Account Authenticity and Verification

At YouApp, authenticity and trust are the foundation of our community. We are committed to ensuring that every account represents a real person who interacts honestly, safely, and respectfully.

Eligibility to Hold a YouApp Account

  • Minimum age: You must be at least 18 years old to register and use a YouApp account
  • Verification: All users must complete government-issued ID and facial-recognition checks
  • Accurate information: Provide valid and reachable contact details
  • Single-account rule: Each person may maintain only one verified account
  • Personal use: Accounts are for individual use only
  • Compliance: All members must follow the laws and age restrictions of their country

Authentic Representation

You must represent yourself honestly at all times. This includes:

  • Using your real name, accurate profile photo, and verified identity details
  • Providing truthful information about your skills, background, and qualifications
  • Avoiding any impersonation, false credentials, or misleading photos
  • Refraining from using any identity mismatched with your verified documents

Booking Eligibility and Verification

  • Only verified accounts bearing the official YouApp Verified Badge may make bookings
  • Bookings must be confirmed and paid within the YouApp app
  • Hosts may decline requests from users who are not verified
  • YouApp may withhold verification if provided identification appears falsified

Prohibited Account Use

  • Creating fake or misleading accounts or using a false identity
  • Impersonating another person, organization, celebrity, or brand
  • Using someone else's photo, name, or personal data without consent
  • Operating or controlling multiple, automated, or shared accounts
  • Buying, selling, renting, or transferring accounts
  • Providing false information during registration or verification

Community Standards & Conduct

Respect and Professional Behavior

  • Treat every interaction with courtesy, empathy, and professionalism
  • Follow any reasonable instructions provided by your host or YouApp Support
  • Refrain from using rude, discriminatory, or threatening language
  • Respect personal boundaries and maintain appropriate social conduct
  • Do not pressure others into unwanted behavior or personal exchanges

Punctuality and Commitment

  • Arrive on time for booked sessions or notify the other party promptly if delays occur
  • Avoid last-minute cancellations or unannounced absences
  • Hosts are expected to be prepared at the agreed time and place

Safety and Responsibility

  • Participate only in activities that match your own comfort level and physical condition
  • Follow all safety instructions and venue rules
  • Avoid any action that may endanger yourself, others, or property
  • Immediately report unsafe situations, harassment, or policy violations

Honest and Respectful Interaction

Authenticity and Honesty

  • Be truthful when creating your profile or describing your activities
  • Impersonation, misrepresentation, or use of false identities is strictly prohibited
  • Do not provide misleading information about your skills, location, or availability

Consent and Personal Boundaries

  • Always respect personal comfort levels and boundaries
  • Never pressure others into sharing personal information or participating in uncomfortable activities
  • Any form of unwanted physical contact, sexual remarks, or harassment is strictly forbidden
  • Recording, filming, or photographing another person without clear prior consent is not allowed

Safe Interactions and Environment

  • YouApp encourages all sessions to occur in safe, open, and public spaces
  • Private one-on-one sessions in apartments, hotel rooms, or other closed indoor environments are strictly prohibited
  • Users and hosts must ensure the chosen venue provides public visibility, accessibility, and safety

Activity Capacity and Participation Rules

Booking and Participation Limits

  • Each booking on YouApp is tied to the verified user who made the payment
  • Users may select the intended number of participants during booking
  • Hosts may accept or reject bookings based on suitability, schedule, or total participants
  • Bookings made on behalf of another person are not allowed

Unauthorized Attendance or Substitution

  • Users are not permitted to send another person to attend on their behalf
  • If a host identifies an unauthorized individual, the host may refuse to proceed
  • Users involved in identity misuse or substitution will forfeit the session payment

Risk and Safety Screening

YouApp prioritizes the safety and well-being of all members. To maintain a secure environment, YouApp implements layered risk-detection, verification, and response systems.

Account Verification and Profile Review

  • All new accounts undergo automated and manual screening
  • Users are required to complete identity verification through valid government-issued ID and face liveness scan
  • Profiles containing misleading or inappropriate content will be rejected or removed

AI-Assisted Risk Detection

  • YouApp uses automated tools to flag abnormal or potentially unsafe patterns
  • Flagged accounts may be temporarily restricted or reviewed manually

Anti-Circumvention & Community Integrity

To protect user safety, trust, and accountability, YouApp strictly prohibits any attempt to bypass or conduct sessions outside the platform.

Off-Platform Communication and Transactions

  • Users and hosts must not arrange or conduct sessions outside YouApp's platform
  • Sharing personal contact details for moving communication or payment outside YouApp is strictly prohibited
  • All sessions and meetups must be arranged through official YouApp booking channels

Consequences for Circumvention

  • Immediate account suspension or permanent removal
  • Forfeiture or hold of pending payouts
  • Cancellation of ongoing or future bookings
  • Reporting to relevant authorities in cases involving fraud or safety risks

Reporting and Support

Reporting Violations

Users may report any suspicious, harmful, or non-compliant content or behavior directly through the in-app reporting tools or by contacting support.

Reports should include sufficient detail for investigation. Anonymous or incomplete reports may limit YouApp's ability to act.

Review and Action

All valid reports are reviewed by YouApp's moderation team. Depending on the severity, YouApp may:

  • Remove or restrict reported content
  • Issue warnings or temporary suspensions
  • Permanently disable accounts
  • Refer serious violations to relevant authorities

YouApp does not tolerate retaliation against individuals who report in good faith.

Support and Assistance

For general assistance, users may reach YouApp's customer-support team via the in-app help center or contact form. Support requests are handled in priority order and may require verification for security purposes.
