Payments and Payouts Policy
Overview
All financial transactions within YouApp must occur securely through the in-app payment system. This policy ensures that payments, refunds, and host payouts are processed safely, traceably, and in compliance with applicable financial regulations.
YouApp does not permit any cash payments, direct transfers, or third-party payment arrangements between hosts and users.
Payment Process for Users
- All bookings must be paid in-app using the supported payment gateways (e.g., credit / debit card, Touch 'n Go eWallet, WeChat Pay, Alipay, or other approved methods).
- Once payment is completed, YouApp securely holds the funds until the session is completed and verified.
- After each session, the user must submit a rating or report within 24 hours.
- If the host fails to appear, the user must report the issue within 24 hours so that the payment can be placed under review.
- Payments and wallet balances are protected within YouApp's verified system; users should never make private or off-platform payments.
Refunds
- Refunds, when approved under the Cancellations and Refund Policy, will be credited to the user's YouApp wallet.
- Funds in the wallet may be used for future bookings or, where permitted, withdrawn in accordance with platform rules.
- Refunds will only be processed after the necessary investigation is completed; processing typically takes 3 to 14 business days thereafter, depending on payment-gateway timelines.
Host Payouts
- YouApp issues host payouts twice per month — on the 15th and the last day of each month — for eligible completed sessions.
- Hosts must click the "Withdraw" button in the app to initiate payout processing.
- Payout requests must be submitted before the payout dates (15th and the day before the last day of the month).
- If a host does not submit a withdrawal request before the cut-off date, the unpaid balance will remain securely stored in the host's YouWallet earnings balance. The host may submit a withdrawal at any time, and YouApp will process the payout in the next available payout cycle.
- Payouts are released within 3 working days after a valid withdrawal request is received, provided no fraud flags, disputes, or investigations are pending.
- If a session is under investigation (e.g., reported no-show, incomplete session, or suspected policy breach), payment may be withheld until the case is resolved.
- All host payout details, including earnings, rates, or bonuses, are considered confidential. Hosts must not publicly disclose, share, or discuss payout information with other users, hosts, or external parties.
- Host Payout Calculation
- For each completed order booked and paid through the YouApp Platform, YouApp applies a 30% platform fee on the Booking Amount, and the remaining 70% of the Booking Amount is credited to the Host’s earnings balance, subject to approved refunds, chargebacks, reversals, or taxes required by law.
- “Booking Amount” refers only to the Host’s listed activity price for the booked duration or quantity, and excludes participant service fees, taxes, tips, gratuities, and other non-host charges.
- Example: if a Host’s listed price is USD 300 per hour and a Participant books 2 hours, the Booking Amount is USD 600, the YouApp platform fee is USD 180, and the Host’s earnings balance is credited with USD 420, subject to the terms above.
Prohibited Financial Conduct
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Requesting or accepting payment outside the YouApp app (e.g., bank transfer, cash, or third-party wallets).
- Encouraging other users to bypass in-app payments or conduct off-platform transactions.
- Offering discounts, incentives, or refunds through unofficial channels.
- Manipulating pricing, falsifying transactions, or using fake bookings to generate income.
Any violation may result in suspension, account termination, or referral to relevant authorities.
Fraud and Abuse Prevention
YouApp actively monitors for fraudulent or suspicious activity through both automated systems and manual review.
Potential indicators include:
- Multiple accounts linked to the same device or payment source.
- Repeated cancellations or refund requests with inconsistent evidence.
- Attempts to falsify attendance, reviews, or session completion.
YouApp reserves the right to freeze funds, delay payouts, or permanently disable accounts involved in suspected fraud or abuse.
Local Laws and Operating Requirements
In certain jurisdictions, YouApp may work with local operators to support the local operation of the platform. Depending on the market and service involved, those operations may be subject to applicable local laws, regulations, licensing requirements, verification procedures, and reporting obligations.
Enforcement
YouApp may, at its discretion:
- Suspend or withhold payments under investigation;
- Reverse or adjust incorrect transactions;
- Terminate accounts found to be in breach of this policy; and
- Report unlawful payment activity to the appropriate authorities.
All enforcement actions under this policy are final and may be carried out without prior notice.
